"Wow!" I said, "Wow!" Over 100 artists have three days to complete their chalk drawings in a 6 x 6 square. Even the kiddos get involved with little 2 x 2 squares. We met a man from Puerta Vallerta, who won a contest in Mexico with his rendition of "Doubting Thomas," another two ladies who were drawing a tiger in honor of one of their sons, who was nicknamed "Tiger" (They only drew one chalk art a year.), and a man and wife team who did a perspective drawing of a derby race (He said they do at least a dozen a year.). This art contest happens every Memorial Day weekend, and it is worth seeing at least once in your lifetime! There are no winners, and it supports The Children's Creative Project. — at I'madonnari Italian street painting festival.
